Estimation AI Signs Letter of Intent with Kulu Windows and Doors for Q1 2026 Pilot Program
January 3, 2026

Kulu Windows and Doors has signed a Letter of Intent with Estimation AI to conduct a pilot implementation of Estimation AI’s blueprint-driven estimation platform, scheduled to begin approximately in Q1 2026. The collaboration aims to address long-standing challenges in manually measuring sizes from construction blueprints, which currently slow down estimation workflows and RFP or proposal preparation.
During the pilot, Kulu Windows and Doors will evaluate Estimation AI’s ability to automatically extract required dimensions from plans and generate data-driven analysis to support more reliable project planning. The pilot’s success criteria include a 50% reduction in time spent on manual estimation tasks and increased accuracy of project timelines relative to historical benchmarks.
Upon successful completion of the pilot and achievement of these metrics, Kulu Windows and Doors intends to enter good-faith negotiations for a commercial license of Estimation AI for its proposal department and related teams. Both parties have agreed to keep the details of the collaboration confidential, with the Letter of Intent serving as a non-binding expression of interest aside from its confidentiality provisions.
